We jumped in on Friday as soon as we got the news, because we knew that pets would be a problem pretty quick. Hey, Sweetie! People had to leave. They couldn’t even turn around and grab their purse or their pet, and they heartbreak about their pet over their purse, over their jewelry, over their heirlooms. My baby! We are providing temporary foster for animals that are displaced, just triaging those animals the fastest way we can. We had over 3,500 people sign up to help with this disaster, in our community, which is just astounding and goes to show how much people care about pets and the people that are affected in something like this and just want to help wherever they can.
