In 1882 Dr. John Newbrough (vegan), a 19th-century clairvoyant, dentist, and author, published the prophetic book “Oahspe: A New Bible in the Words of Jehovih and His Angel Ambassadors,” which was written through “automatic writing” based on Divine inspiration. Much information contained in the text was beyond the scientific and spiritual understanding of his time. In the book, God shares revelations about a forthcoming new era, called Kosmon.
“Jehovih said: When I command the nations of the Earth to peace, behold I raise My hand above the carnivorant’s head. As there was a time when I created every animal perfect in its order; so also shall such a time come unto man. And now is the dawn thereof. Hence, I named it Kosmon.
Here, the Lord clearly states that when the new era of peace, Kosmon, comes, Hes will raise Hiers hand above the carnivorant’s head. That means Hes will put a stop to humanity’s practice of animal-people meat eating on Earth.

Throughout Oahspe, God condemns the degrading practice of killing animal- people and eating their flesh.
“It is the contamination of the blood of man by carnivorous food, whereon thou shalt ponder. Like unto like created I all the living. Whosoever maketh himself carnivorous, can not escape conflict and contention within his own members, soul and body. […] To-day, I make it [carnivorous food] poison to him. And man shall turn away from it; and the smell of it shall sicken him; and the sight of blood shall fill him with horror. The butcher shall be ashamed of his avocation; his neighbors shall say to him: Thou stinkest of blood!”
These powerful words from “the Voice of Jehovih” recorded in Oahspe by Dr. John Newbrough indicate that humanity will one day enter a new stage of higher evolution, in the era of Kosmon. When this time comes, the practice of eating animal- people meat will be deemed an abomination. By raising Hiers Hand “above the carnivorant’s head,” God Almighty is issuing a dire warning that those who ignore Hiers Divine decree and Commandment will face punishment.
The current century has been identified as the End Time in Christianity, the Dharma Ending Age in Buddhism, the completion of an old cycle in Mayan culture, and the Kali Yuga in Hinduism. It could well be the edge of the new Kosmon era mentioned in Oahspe. As the barbaric and bloody habit of eating animal-people meat continues, we’re witnessing the detrimental effects of carnivorous practices on individuals and the planet as a whole.
The murdering of our innocent animal friends has caused growing global health crises, zoonotic pandemics, climate change, and countless other negative effects.
“The critical widespread negative impact of animal agriculture on our planet is undeniable. Severe global crises from climate change and environmental damage to species extinction, hunger, poverty, disease, and antibiotic resistance. All of these have direct connections to animal agriculture and the massive inefficiency of our current food production systems.”
“To produce beef, we farm an area about the size of Canada, the United States, the whole of Central America, Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador combined.”
“A plant-based diet would reduce the amount of land required to produce our food by 3.1 billion hectares. That’s an area the size of the entire African continent.”
“Processed red meat has been linked to increasing the risk for a number of diseases, including cancer. Well, the new research out today adds dementia to the list.”
“The US is one of the largest consumers of red meat in the world, and it’s putting us at higher risk of health conditions, like heart disease and type two diabetes. And now researchers have found a direct link between processed red meat and dementia.”
“We shouldn’t wait to lower the risk of future pandemics. As a start, we have to understand the cause of this one and the ones before: our treatment of animals. Ebola, SARS, MERS, avian flu, and other deadly outbreaks are all linked directly towards our treatment of animals.”
“The virus that causes COVID-19 has been linked to a wet market where wild and farmed animals, both dead and alive, are bought and sold for people to eat.”
“Could we be on the verge of another pandemic? And one that could be even worse than the one caused by coronavirus. This time it could actually be bird flu, let’s hope not. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) is now calling for more testing for bird flu at America’s farms, sounding alarms after several farm workers contracted the disease from animals.”
“Unfortunately, bird flu, when it does enter humans, has a significant mortality. Probably somewhere between 25 and 50% mortality.”

If people don’t turn away from this bloody eating habit, it’s going to get worse. Modern day seers and clairvoyants have seen strange new diseases that could come upon humans.
“Parker: I saw a flock of birds and I felt them fall from the sky. A whole big flock of birds, just fell from the sky. Now, I don’t know what is causing that, or is that kind of symbolic perhaps? Is that symbolic of maybe another bird flu epidemic?”
“Brandon Biggs: It’s like a flu. It’s a bug. They’re sick, the people, and I see the cows and they’re sick. And they’re just falling down, the cows. And all these people, I see them dying by the millions. I see them bent over with this virus; they’re throwing up. Very sick.”
How has humanity found itself in such a dire situation? A deeper spiritual reason lies behind the abhorrent carnivore diet. Oahspe states that eating animal-people flesh can conjure a “beast” inside human beings, thus changing us and making us forget our soul, our true spirit.
“Jehovih called out to man to desist from evil; but man heard Him not. For the cunning of the beast had changed man’s flesh, so that his soul was hid as if in a cloud, and he loved sin.”
“Flesh-food carrieth man away from prophecy; away from spirituality. A nation of meat-eaters will always culminate in disbelievers in spirituality; and they become addicted to corporeal passions. Such men can not understand; to them the world is vanity and vexation, if poor; or, if rich, a place to revel in for lust’s sake.”
That’s why forbidding meat-eating is one of the sacred commandments God has given to humans.

Our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has been teaching humans to obey God’s Commandments and denounce the cruel animal-people meat eating practice for decades.
“This is the other reason we must become vegan. We have to stop the cruelty, the inhumane and below-human standard treatment of all the animal(-people) that come here to bless our world with their uniqueness and love.
I mentioned before that 55 billion animal(-people) are murdered every year, legally for consumption. This is not even counting the billions of fish(-people)! Can we imagine? There is no bigger moral crisis than the one that is created by the mass massacring of sweet innocent living beings for our pleasure when we have other choices. Such mass murder is a crime of global proportions. And this killing energy in turn breeds and strengthens other negative energy, which is degrading our society and destroying our world.
So, to return ourselves and our world to a purer state, one where all beings can feel safe, protected and loved, and where all humans walk the dignified way of the children of God, we have to stop the killing of innocent animal(-people). Stop it now. Stop it now and turn to the merciful way of life. The natural way of life that God intended us to live, which is the vegan diet. This will restore the conscience of every person who adopts such a lifestyle as well as the planet itself. If the conscience is clear, we have no more moral crisis, sir. We have peace. We have harmony. We will have abundance.”

It’s clear that the carnivore lifestyle has no place in the new era of peace – Kosmon. We remain optimistic that humanity will pull through this critical screening period by heeding the True Teachings of all the enlightened Masters as presented in “Oahspe: A New Bible in the Words of Jehovih and His Angel Ambassadors” recorded by Dr. John Newbrough (vegan).
