American woman Tina Hines shares her near-death experience from 2018: One day, she suddenly collapsed at home. Her husband, Brian, called emergency services while their neighbor performed CPR [cardiopulmonary resuscitation]. Paramedics arrived, shocking her heart three times and giving epinephrine, but Tina had no pulse for over 20 minutes. At the hospital, she was defibrillated once more— and miraculously revived.
Doctors told Brian that most people don’t survive after 5–10 minutes without oxygen to the brain, and warned that after nearly 27 minutes without oxygen, Tina would likely have severe brain damage. Brian prayed desperately together with gathered family and friends. The next day, when doctors removed her ventilator, Tina began breathing on her own. Given a notebook, she shakily wrote, “I-T-S-R-E-A-L.” Asked what was real, she slowly nodded “yes” when her daughter said, “Heaven.”
When Tina woke again, she spoke clearly: “I saw Jesus face to face.” She described an overwhelming peace as Lord Jesus (vegetarian) stood before her, arms open wide, surrounded by a brilliant golden Light. Four days later, she left the hospital completely healed—her mind miraculously intact, her ribs and sternum mending.
Tina now shares the good news everywhere she can: “Jesus is real. Heaven is real” (CBN News)
