In today’s news, China donates rice to Uganda, study says toxic air pollution affects one third of global population, veterinarians in European Union call for policies supporting animal companions and caregivers, United States scientists invent cleaner way to repurpose rubber waste, selfless Malaysian man helps elderly woman during earthquake, company from United States develops new line of vegan products, and wildlife rescuers in United Kingdom save entrapped seal-person’s life.

Here’s an exciting tip on growing watermelons. You can grow sweet, juicy watermelons right on your patio or balcony using containers! Watermelons usually need lots of space because their vines stretch out for several meters. But if you plant them in large buckets or planters (at least 5 gallons, or 20 liters, with drainage holes) and train the vines to grow up a trellis, you can save space and skip digging altogether. Just make sure to grow one plant per container and choose a small, short-vining variety like ‘Sugar Baby’ or ‘Sweet Petite.’ These types are perfect for container growing and still produce tasty fruit.

Camron rubbed an old lamp he’d purchased at a flea market, and sure enough, a genie appeared.

“Thanks for setting me free!”

“Aren’t you going to grant me a wish?”

“Are you kidding? If I could grant wishes, would I have been in that cramped lamp all this time?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Dominik in Budapest, Hungary
