Study by nonprofit Global Witness finds Chinese social media platform TikTok still shows sexually suggestive or inappropriate videos to children and teens, exposing them within minutes even when the new “restricted mode” is turned on, according to tests in Australia, the UK, and US. The report notes that TikTok’s artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm prioritizes watch time and engagement over content safety, reflecting the risks of such AI-driven systems (Báo Tuổi Trẻ)
Study finds a high-fiber diet rich in vegetables can slow or reverse liver disease linked to high fructose consumption. Vegetables high in inulin include Jerusalem artichokes, chicory root, leeks, asparagus, garlic and onions. Inulin is also found in whole wheat flour and bran, barley, and rye. Incorporate plant-based foods like these into a balanced vegan diet to keep your heart and liver healthy (The Independent)
Experts say durian, known as the “king of fruits,” is rich in fiber, vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants that support digestion, immunity, and heart health. Research shows its protective plant-based compounds can reduce inflammation and protect cells from oxidative stress. Enjoy in moderation, fresh or blended into vegan desserts, for a nutrient-dense, plant-powered energy boost (Healthline)
Doctors say celeriac, or celery root, is a low-calorie, fiber-rich vegetable packed with potassium, vitamin C, and antioxidants that support heart, kidney, and digestive health. Studies show it can help regulate blood pressure and reduce inflammation. Roast, mash, or add to soups and stews for a hearty addition to a healthy vegan diet (Oregon State University)
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) warns Japan’s “wildlife cafés”— where customers can touch rare animal-people such as otter- and snow owl-individuals— risk infectious disease outbreaks, after they found harmful bacteria and poor hygiene at venues in Tokyo (Báo Tuổi Trẻ)

Most people can no longer tell the difference between AI (artificial intelligence) and real human voices, new study finds, raising concerns over phone scams, deepfakes, and unauthorized celebrity voice cloning. Researchers urge stronger ethical and legal safeguards to govern AI use (Euronews)
Analysis: Children today tend to view artificial intelligence (AI) as a “friend,” asking up to 20 questions and always receiving answers, while many parents lose patience and scold their children by the third question. Experts advise parents to be more patient, encourage curiosity, and avoid letting emotions affect communication, while teachers should guide students in effective self-learning, helping them avoid overreliance on AI while fostering critical thinking skills (Báo Thanh Niên)
Experts warn artificial intelligence (AI) toys pose risks to children’s mental health and privacy, following a lawsuit filed by an American parent who claims a chatbot companion influenced her son’s suicide. The AI toy market is projected to reach a market size of US$14 billion in China by 2030, with around 1,500 companies involved (Báo Thanh Niên)
British-American astronomer Dr. Jonathan McDowell warns that in 2025, one to two Starlink satellites fall out of orbit daily, possibly increasing to 5 as the network grows. This raises safety concerns and the risk of “Kessler syndrome,” where collisions create so much space debris that Earth’s orbit could become unusable for satellites and future space travel (VnExpress)

French-American hospice nurse Nadia McCaffrey shares her near-death experiences that revealed Earth’s possible futures.
Her first experience happened in France on July 7, 1952, when Nadia was seven. While gathering flowers for her grandmother, she ran into a wheat field and was bitten on the ankle by a viper. The pain was excruciating. Her grandmother ran to her, tied a tourniquet, and tried to extract the venom, but Nadia soon lost consciousness. Two doctors arrived two hours later, injected antivenom, and she fell into a ten-day coma.
During that coma, Nadia left her body. She saw her swollen, discolored leg but felt no attachment to the body below. Drawn upward by a radiant Light, she floated toward It and encountered a magnificent Being of Light who radiated pure love and compassion. The Being embraced her and wordlessly communicated three things: she would not die, she had a long life ahead, and her purpose was to help others. The Being called herself “your Little Mother of the Sky” and promised Nadia “I always will be with you.” Raised Catholic, Nadia recognized her as the Virgin Mary (vegetarian)
Ten days later, Nadia revived. Her leg was gangrenous, and doctors considered amputation, but she told her grandmother, “I will live and walk again.” Within two months, she was walking with a cane.
Her grandmother, a village healer, told her to keep her near-death experience secret for her safety. Nadia did—but she was never the same. She could sense truth and falsehood, see through people, and longed to return to the “Mother of the Sky.”
At 17, Nadia attempted suicide by swallowing bottles of pills, hoping to return to the Light. A friend unexpectedly arrived, found her unconscious, and rushed her to the hospital. Her heart stopped, and she left her body again. She floated above, uninterested in her body, searching for the Light. She was pulled through what many near-death experiencers call “the tunnel” into another dimension—a darker space where she heard a commanding Voice say, “You can’t stay. You haven’t even begun your work.” There was no arguing with that Voice. Forced back into her body, Nadia awoke to find a nurse crying beside her. Returning was painful and difficult, but she knew she had a purpose yet to fulfill.
Nadia’s third near-death experience came decades later, in December 1999. Working in hospice care, Nadia sat beside a comatose patient when she suddenly developed a burning fever and was surrounded by golden Light. She checked her arms— she was inside the Light again. She let go and found herself in another realm, hearing a voice ask, “Do you want to come home?” Then she was shown the Earth’s past, present, and two possible futures. One was bright and peaceful; the other was bleak— gray skies, famine, anger, and war. People stood in lines for food under a blood-red sky. She felt this was what humanity was heading toward. Nadia was also warned that a personal loss was coming.
When Nadia returned, she was in the same chair, drenched in sweat. Her fever was 105.9ºF [41ºC], and doctors were shocked she survived.
In 2004, the personal loss the voice had warned her about came: Her son Patrick, a US soldier, was killed in Iraq. The night he died, Nadia was visiting a dying friend in the Mojave Desert. At the exact time of his death, she saw a green light in the sky and felt a crushing pressure in her chest. She later learned it was the precise moment he was shot.
Soon after, her granddaughter— two-and-a-half years old— ran to her shouting, “Come see Daddy!” In the yard, Nadia saw a heat-like shimmer where Patrick stood. The child described his face and movements, saying, “Daddy’s happy.” The next day, as the family gathered to view Patrick’s final photo from Iraq, a scent of roses filled the room. Everyone fell silent and wept, sensing his presence. Lights in the house turned on by themselves for days; framed photos fell forward; the TV turned on unassisted. Nadia knew he was near.
Nadia devoted her life to hospice work and spiritual care, founding a nonprofit to help people transition peacefully at death. Reflecting on her three near-death experiences, she says death is not an end— there is no end—rather, it’s a return to where we come from. Her message is that compassion and unconditional love are the keys to elevate human consciousness and heal the planet (Anthony Chene production)
